Touchdown, Aerohive!

Boston! Home of the New England Patriots, Clam Chowder, and rich American history! This week we traveled across the country to a conference with one of our best clients. MassachusettsComputer Using Educators (MassCUE) is a gathering of educators passionate about technology and is a grand event to learn and share knowledge about the future of education. Aerohive took this opportunity to help sponsor the event, as well as hosted a booth in order to showcase their wireless networking solution.  We’ve teamed up with Aerohive many times, and thoroughly enjoy working with them. For this event, we shot testimonials of their customers, all in a venue that was truly spectacular: Gillette Stadium.

Using another one of our favorite gadgets to capture this awesome venue, we made sure to bring our Glidecam. Similar to that of a normal steadicam, the Glidecam works best with our HDSLRs, like our Canon 5D.  Likewise, this tool is easy to manipulate, and allows us to shoot a nice and steady shot.

At the end of the first day, we had the exciting opportunity to walk on the field. There was also an after party event at the Hall of Fame where we captured additional Broll. This provided an excellent backdrop for two more interviews, along with capturing a little fun with Aerohive.

Throughout the next day, we gathered many more interviews to produce an enticing wrap up video. Finishing off a great trip and successful shoot, our flight back West didn’t leave until later the next day, so we were able to do some sight seeing.

After a busy week and a day walking the Freedom Trail, we were pretty tired and ready to head back. All things considered, we have fun with every project we do, and love shooting everything to the best of our ability. We are looking forward to working with Aerohive again, as they are always a great group to work with. As for the future, we have some exciting projects coming up--One includes going to Washington D.C. over Election Day. This project will not only be a big deal for us, but we will be trying out a bunch of new gear. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to keep updated with our projects.
