Triplefin 2013 Sales Kickoff

In the past couple months, we have done a multitude of different corporate town hall meetings and kick off events with our mobile streaming and switching unit. Each event comes with new challenges to overcome, whether it has to do with the size of the space, or the complexity of the set up. This week, we had the opportunity to work with Triplefin for their 2013 Sales Kickoff.

 

We arrived at the venue an hour early in order to set up our switcher. While the all-day event was not going to be live streamed, bringing our switcher allows us to save on time in the post-production process. As we capture the footage, we can live edit using multiple camera angles. From there, we import the edited footage into Adobe Premiere Pro, add titles, cut out any flubs, and adjust the audio. 

To ensure the coverage of the speakers and the participants, we used a four camera set up with an additional computer input for the PowerPoint presentations. The Blackmagic ATEM 1 Production Switcher has the capability to do a picture in picture function, where we can both highlight the speaker and their PowerPoint slide. This unique feature is extremely helpful when we do our Tech Field Day Events where there is a demonstration of a product or video.

After multiple sessions for two days, the event concluded without any problems. We loved working with Triplefin and look forward to doing business with them again. Our production team is trained for any style event, whether it's filming a small group of people like this one, or a large corporate showcase event. 

In the next couple weeks, we will be testing a new piece of equipment that will be able to capture video in places where we never thought we could. Complete Versatility and Multi-Tiered Production

From photo to video, and live streaming to interviews, this week was full of shooting multiple projects. With production shoots every day of the week, we maintained our busy schedule by utilizing our time management and pre-planning skills.

 

Starting the week off, we took our mobile streaming unit and set it up for AT&T's Desert Southwest kick off event.  We used three cameras to capture each presenter; two were robotic, and one was manned by our Production Director. The whole presentation went smoothly, and we were pleased to work with the people there. Live streaming of events and meetings have been growing in popularity as we continue to book new jobs using our streaming capabilities.

 

The following day we spent shooting in the studio for Auer Precision. Most of the project is animated, but required a hand model to showcase their concept. Afterwards, half our team went to take ELC photos of an apartment complex. These will be a part of a before and after series as the complex renovates their community. 

Our next project required two days of shooting on Wednesday and Friday. We worked with Bishop & Martin Law Office to cover both their Tempe and Phoenix locations. This set of 15 videos encompasses all aspects of their offices and the services they provide. For each location, we began by shooting B-roll to showcase the people and the office environment.

 

From there, we moved into our two camera set up for each of the interviews. Armed with two Canon 5Ds, we composed a steady tight medium shot, and the a wide sliding shot. By getting both of these angles we achieved an enhanced aesthetic that will be illustrated when we merge the two together. The movement used in the sliding shot adds production value and interest to entice the viewers, making the whole video a marketable piece. After the interview segments, we finished our shoot by taking head shots of each of the lawyers.

 

In between shooting for Bishop & Martin Law, our production team left for Tuscon to shoot at Carden of Tuscon . Two manned cameras and one stationary camera gave us coverage of the students and instructor, while six wireless microphones and a mixer made it easy to capture their audio. We worked all day capturing different grade levels of children, which will later be used to aid in teacher training and instruction.
