In the history of PrimeImage Media, never have we had so many jobs back to back, and in far away places. Many of these projects split us into two mobile production teams, working in different parts of the country (or in this case, the world). While some of these were client testimonials and wrap up videos, the majority of them required recording conference sessions. As live streaming and live switching becomes a huge percentage of our business, we are successfully growing locally and across the country.
The biggest factor in setting us apart from other companies (and why clients pay for us to travel) is how we care for their content, as well as offering speedy delivery. We are accustomed to tight deadlines, rigid schedules, and editing on the go. For conference sessions, rather than filming on multiple cameras and spending weeks syncing, editing, or adding power point slides, we live edit everything with the Tricaster. This way, the only edits after the sessions are adding any logos, titles, or lower thirds. In post production, rendering out the final project takes up most of the time, and we often have to export over night. However, a full week of conference sessions, up to 25-30 hours, can be finished in less than two weeks.
We’ve also applied this set up to training videos, here in the studio. Recently we had a shoot where we captured three 1-hour sessions, and by the next day they were edited and completed. Even with the speedy delivery, we do not give up quality. We use the best equipment and software to create graphics that are tailored to each of our clients needs.
The Tricaster is mainly for live switching and streaming, and we’re not sure of anyone else who uses it as a tool to live edit sessions, training videos, and seminars. When it comes to equipment, we like innovate creative ways to integrate the technology with what we do.
