A Few New Faces

The PrimeImage team has been running nonstop with recent productions in San Jose, Las Vegas, Boston, Houston, the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, and locally in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

We are pleased to welcome two new employees to the team, Seth Egert and Glenna Goldman. These recent graduates have been lending a hand in all aspects of production.

Some highlights of the past few months include:

Getting used to the LiveStream at Tech Field Day in San Jose

Shooting a variety of conferences

Hiking and boat rides on a real estate shoot in North Carolina

Experimenting with outdoor product shots

Shooting another great ERA D2C Conference, with additional talent Craig Burnett and Shannon Wallace-Knell.

And finally, company bonding time!

We are excited for the year to come! We are currently in the process of freshening up the look of our in-house studio. We're ready for a variety of shoots locally and in the surrounding states, and perhaps even internationally.

More coming soon!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us for your video production needs.

The Beauty of Live Editing

San Jose. Austin. San Jose. Atlanta. London. Paris. San Francisco. San Jose. Phoenix. Las Vegas.

All in a matter of 6 weeks.

In the history of PrimeImage Media, never have we had so many jobs back to back, and in far away places.  Many of these projects split us into two mobile production teams, working in different parts of the country (or in this case, the world).  While some of these were client testimonials and wrap up videos, the majority of them required recording conference sessions. As live streaming and live switching becomes a huge percentage of our business, we are successfully growing locally and across the country.

The biggest factor in setting us apart from other companies (and why clients pay for us to travel) is how we care for their content, as well as offering speedy delivery. We are accustomed to tight deadlines, rigid schedules, and editing on the go.  For conference sessions, rather than filming on multiple cameras and spending weeks syncing, editing, or adding power point slides, we live edit everything with the
Tricaster. This way, the only edits after the sessions are adding any logos, titles, or lower thirds.  In post production, rendering out the final project takes up most of the time, and we often have to export over night. However, a full week of conference sessions, up to 25-30 hours, can be finished in less than two weeks.

We’ve also applied this set up to training videos, here in the studio. Recently we had a shoot where we captured three 1-hour sessions, and by the next day they were edited and completed. Even with the speedy delivery, we do not give up quality. We use the best equipment and software to create graphics that are tailored to each of our clients needs.

The Tricaster is mainly for live switching and streaming, and we’re not sure of anyone else who uses it as a tool to live edit sessions, training videos, and seminars. When it comes to equipment, we like innovate creative ways to integrate the technology with what we do.

2014: The Start of Something Great

After a massive studio sale, we had a fresh start to 2014 utilizing new equipment. This includes a
second Tricaster, new microphones, and even new people. As we receive more local business, we've hired two new Account Managers: Lisa Ellis and Bill Casale. Together, we hope to boost our streaming services locally and worldwide.

Wireless Field Day 6 was a great place to test drive all of our new equipment. Many of the hi-tech companies we visit run servers, access points, and other devices that cause an increase in interference for our wireless microphones. We have successfully overcome this challenge by using a set of  Shure microphones specifically designed for this issue. We are excited to say that we had absolutely no interference difficulties at this conference.

Tech Field Day is an event that is very special to us and continues to be one of our favorite projects. With hundreds of viewers tuning into each presentation, the event concluded with no complications.

This is only the start to several live streaming projects for the year. February alone includes two streaming projects, as well as traveling to Austin, San Francisco, and San Jose. We are excited to see where our mobility takes us, while keeping busy locally with commercials and testimonials. Be sure to take a look at our
new and improved website or give us a call at 480.240.9270 for more information on live streaming or recording your next event.
